Multipurpose Medical Test

Diagnostic Information

The metabolic data that hTMA provides will verify whether your dog is getting the necessary nutritional support to meet performance, stress and energy demands.

Baseline Health Information

The initial hTMA offers baseline information about your dog's current state of health, and provides early detection of trends toward disease (i.e., predictive medicine). hTMA also tests for toxic heavy metals that dogs are commonly exposed to (being close to the ground, where these toxins settle).

The hTMA data is a historical aggregate of the past three to four months. This comparitively long time-frame makes hTMA useful as an indicator of your dog's predominant health and metabolic status. In comparison, a serum (blood) test is more suitable for measuring acute exposure because it provides a snapshot of momentary biochemical status. And urinalysis measures only what is being excreted in the urine, so does not provide a complete metabolic analysis.

Monitor and Evaluate Progress

A follow-up hTMA re-test allows you to monitor and evaluate the improvements in the dog's nutritional status over time. Re-test results direct the necessary adjustments to dietary and supplement needs, ensuring that you are providing for your dog needs. A re-test measures the amount of toxic heavy metals that are being eliminated, allowing you to verify and monitor progress. Evaluation is important to ensure protocol safety.
